We currently offer disk chucks for every major media test manufacturer in the world. This gives the end user an upgrade solution to inferior chuck designs on machines currently manufactured and testers already in use, regardless of tester, make or model. AIR BEARING TECHNOLOGY'S unique wrap around dove tail design allows the air slide to be mounted in any position. The fixed clearance design yields maximum stage loading. Gas lubrication films are minimal, using an 8 micron film thickness for minimal air requirements with maximum stiffness and load capability.
This system is designed for trouble-free operation with a fail-safe interlock switch and air reservoir for adequate deceleration time for a spindle and or slide in the event of air loss.
Technology for the next century. The LA2000 series of linear amplifiers represents a dramatic breakthrough in industrial technology. All models come standard with frequency-lock loop speed control option, along with programmable torque and acceleration. The units are controlled through an RS232 interface which produces diagnostics and configuration abilities. It can be configured via setup commands to operate with a variety of different motor and encoder combinations. Models 31 and 61 are designed for cabinet mounting.
