The ABT product lines began in 1989 and have maintained a continous focus on air bearing products since then. With over 15,000 air bearing spindles,  and countless disk and wafer chucks, air slides, motions controllers, and support equipment in the field today, we remain passionate about our work.

Staff Experience

We are a full service, in-house manufacturer of our ABT product lines. We design, test, and manufacture our products in our plant with the latest technologies and the most skilled of workers. Our staff experience includes ~ 230 Man-years of machining experience with ~ 80 Man-Years dedicated to air bearings.

Suite of tools

To complement our full scale CNC machine shop complete with automated mills and lathes, our model and manual shop is vastly equipped  for smaller and less demanding projects.

State of the art solid modeling and drafting tools complement our CAM software for NC code generation and tool path optimization, delivering the most efficiently produced products.

Along with our extensive resources of custom tooling for air bearing production, not commercially available, our grinding and lapping department produces the demanding precision finishes and surfaces needed for frictionless motion.

As a fully integrated full service manufacturer we are not only able to produce the highest quality air bearing products, but are able to replicate these products at high volume, while maintaining the strictest of standards for quality and performance.
